Lors du PPV Backlash 99 à Providence, Rhodes Island, les Acolytes et Mideon battaient Edge, Christian et Gangrel quand Bradshaw réalisait le tombé sur Christian grâce à son "Clothesline from Hell" après que Viscera ne soit intervenu dans le combat en frappant Christian à l'extérieur du ring.

Al Snow battait le Champion Hardcore, Hardcore Holly pour remporter le titre HardCore après avoir frappé le champion avec Head le mettant K.O.

Le Champion Intercontinental, le Godfather battait Goldust avec un "DVD" et après avoir porté un "Ho Train" aussi bien sur le challenger que sur le Meanie qui ne cessait d'intervenir.

The Road Dogg et Billy Gunn battaient Owen Hart et Jeff Jarrett quand Billy Gunn réalisait le tombé sur Owen Hart grâce à un "Fameasser" quand Owen Hart avait son "Sharpshooter" de porté sur le Road Dogg. Dues aux stipulations d'avant, Billy Gunn et Road Dogg remportaient un "Title Shot" pour la 1ère émission de Smackdown!

Mankind battait le Big Show dans un "Boiler Room Brawl Match". Après le combat, les 2 hommes se bagarraient contre le Big Boss Man et Test.

Triple H battait X-Pac avec le "Pedigree" malgrés les interfèrences de Kane et après que X-Pac ne porte son "Bronco Buster" sur Chyna.
L'Undertaker battait Ken Shamrock en renversant un "tombstone" pour porter son propre finish. Après le combat, Bradshaw attaquait Ken Shamrock en retour des attaques de Shamrock durant les semaines précédentes.

Le Champion poids lourds, Steve Austin battait le Rock dans un "No Holds Barred Match" avec un "Stunner" après que l'arbitre spécial, Shane McMahon ne frappait accidentellement le challenger avec la ceinture. Alors que Shane refusait de faire le compte de 3, Vince McMahon se pointait sur le ring avec un autre arbitre et frappait Shane avec la ceinture "Smoking Skull" d'Austin !
